I work with in HTML, CSS, JS, WordPress, PHP, and MySQL databases. I enjoy thinking up design strategies for client needs. that test my creativity and resourcefulness.
To assist me in web development I use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Vegas Pro, Adobe XD, and Figma. and I also dabble in acting and photography so I have a good understanding of how various fields interrelate. I find myself constantly exploring new creative processes, so my skills are always improving.
A fellow developer and I were approached to create a site for a recently formed cake designing business. Quincy, our client, did not yet have a clear idea of what she wanted on her site. We began our discovery process, researching her competitors in the area, and asking Quincy what she liked and disliked about other websites of a similar nature. During our research, we found that the name she had originally created for her company was already being used by a different company so we then had to help her rebrand.
Our team practices agile development with scrum team methodology, so it was decided that for our first sprint, we would help our client choose a hosting site that fit her needs.
By the second sprint, we had a backlog list of features Quincy wanted, so we developed a wireframe of the site and showed our design to various testers to get a grasp of what we needed to improve. After these tests, we made our changes and returned to Quincy to discuss her thoughts and our plan for the next sprint. She found the site was too formal for the brand she had in mind and made a few suggestions on what else the site could feature. We then decided on a name and began preparing for the new sprint.
We carefully developed a new logo for her site, making sure to keep in contact with her so she could approve the changes we were making. We then overhauled the site to match the aesthetic of the new logo design.
The new design overhaul was well received by Quincy. There were a few more alterations she requested, most of which we were able to accommodate, however, there were a few that would have lowered the efficiency of the site. Later in the meeting, we brought up our concerns, and Quincy trusted our judgment. With that last hurdle out of the way, we began our final sprint.
With the design being mostly complete, we began working on adding and organizing the last chunks of content she wanted on her site. After we optimized the layout of the new content, we made the final style tweaks that were discussed and returned to Quincy.
As it was our last meeting, we made sure to polish the website as much as possible. Our efforts were a success as Quincy was delighted with the final product. With the job finally complete we discussed our fees and offered our services for future updates she may want to rehire us for.

Page styling was done in tasteful earth tones to provide a backdrop that was neutral but not colorless, allowing the more brightly-colored content--user-submitted works of art--to gain attention. Forms were added so that users could submit their artwork, as well as sign up for various events at the show. A schedule of events was organized in an easy-to-read table format styled to match the site identity.visit site...

PHP was used to display data from a MySQL database as well-organized lists of product information. This design was given a muted but clean color scheme to appeal to the target audience of business owners. The products were arranged in a CSS grid that is responsive to different page sizes and available layout space. When users select a product for purchase the information is stored in their cart and the totals are added up. This cart also stores the info in a database so that items will stay in the cart even if the user leaves leaves and returns later. visit site...
